Are Millennials the Most Distracted or Engaged Generation?
Great look at a new generation with technology
So as many of you know, I am obsessed with my Pebble watch which is yet to come. It is the biggest thing that has come out of Kickstarter and they have already announced a lot of great features and bonuses to keep the community active and interested.
Today Pebble announced that they are in talks with Twine which is a company which has technology that allows you to send alerts from just about anything you attach their system to. Instead of me trying to explain it - check it out in the video above.
Ummm - I am pretty excited, aren’t you!?
Great video on Capacitive Sensing - this along with voice and a Google Goggles type set-up could take us away from physical devices in our pocket and start to make the world around us inputs to the digital world.

My Conversation with Dan Rowinski from Read Write Web on the Business Side of Mobile Apps
I had a chance to converse with Dan Rowinski, a journalist for Read Write Web Mobile on the challenges and obstacles I’m seeing the average app publisher face in trying to make be successful with an application.
This quote sums up the vibe of the article.
“At the end of the day, there has been a lack of emphasis in the app community’s conversation on the fact that what we are creating are products and business,” said Emrich. “You wouldn’t take $100,000 and open a coffee shop tomorrow in your neighborhood without a plan and marketing, would you?”
Definitely encourage you to check it out!
Its not always easy being an app developer.
I recently worked with App Promo on a survey in April with app developers to see how well they are doing with the business of their apps. The results were pretty staggering and also very indicative of what I’ve been seeing being on the ground floor.
Check out the INFOGRAPHIC I created for App Promo summarizing the results. A complete white paper can also be downloaded from their site at: www.app-promo.com/whitepaper1

Hands on video with the new BlackBerry 10 platform from RIM was going viral today. The video was pretty good actually but nothing ground breaking. If everything does come to fruition from this demo then at best it looks like the new BlackBerry can compete with Android devices.
Like anything with RIM, it will all come down to marketing, which they have been notoriously bad at. With even die-hard Crackberry fans started to jump ship to other devices, will BlackBerry 10 be enough to win them over?
What’s your thoughts?
I am addicated to Kickstarter … starting with the Pebble Watch. I think I’ve found my second backing!
I know this might seem like a step back for the iPad since its all about touch and voice (newest feature) but because I am a child of the computer typing is still the fastest way to get an email done - so this is a great accessory for an already killer device.
REBLOG
The Brydge is a recently Kickstarted keyboard/cover combo that is the best of the few I have seen. Once attached, it could almost be mistaken as being a part of the iPad itself, or even as a MacBook Air.
They are well over their funding goal but, if you want to make sure you get in line for the first batch, you can back it anyway.
